Since summer in Arizona is a furnace and it's too hot even at the rim, we decided to visit "The Hall of Flames" museum.
Get it? Furnace. Flames. Ya, well.

The museum displays fire apparatus from 1725 to 1969. Some of the early pieces look more like works of art than fire fighting equipment.
It's pretty amazing to see how the techniques and equipment advanced over time.
